Still in the Works Comments

Gravatar I have done the same thing with "matching" socks before. It sucks but it's worth it to rip back.

Your dissertation is beautiful! I can't wait to have one of my own.

Gravatar I only like Sockotta for hooked string bags - not for socks.

Congrats on finally finishing them, though.

Gravatar I have never tried socks, but the more I see of your pictures the more fearless I get.

If I knew what H2AX was I might have a clue what your dissertation was about--as a former librarian I
always try to figure them out. Phosphorylation meant what I thought it did, so I'm pleased with myself.

Gravatar Mary Anne, socks are really easy once you get the hang of them. And there are tons of different ways to do them, so you'll definitely be able to find a way that works for you! Also, H2AX is a type of cellular histone, if that helps any. I'm sure the dissertation is boring to anyone other than me, my boss, and about 2 other people in the world.

Gravatar Thanks for the sock encouragement!

As one of the fifty per cent of librarians who entered the field not because we loved books but because we wanted to Know Everything (but settled for knowing how to find everything) I have seldom found any dissertation boring.

Gravatar Dissertation excitement!

That picture of the socks and puppy is TOO CUTE.

Gravatar Your dissertation is gorgeous - congrats!

We must plan a meetup sometime! =)

Gravatar Just wanted to say "Hi Clark!" Also congrats on the matching socks.
