Steve, I'm curious about the mentioned conversion that was necessary to run WVO/SVO in the VeggieGen. I'd like to run W/SVO (filtered and heated) with the same model you have (12.5KW, painted, $2395)without having to do engine modifications. Do you think it necessary to do injector modifications mentioned under AffordablePower's Bio-Diesel Genset, or can I avoid this extra expense and run it as is.

No engine modifications are necessary. Fuel tank modifications are necessary, and consist of a coolant heated fuel tank, tapped off the coolant connections on the engine. We supply a prebuilt 2 tank fuel system for the veggiegen. It's available through affordable power, just ask for the green-trust kit.
