I want to get my head around this "new" idea, but am having a hard time imagining how a 9 month old wearing underwear instead of a diaper works practically without rash, and discomfort, or just plain soiling of the underwear. But I do not have kids and dont plan on it too soon, so i will check out your website link! I imagine there is a part of truth in everything, and i will try to understand this notion.

Gravatar That's one way to go, but it's going to be a hard sell. What drives me nuts is all those dirty diapers going to waste. They sound like they'd be great for growing plants in -- the gel stuff holds water, and well...they come pre-fertilized. Plus, there's other uses (once the diapers are solarized to clean somehow): http://www.barricadegel.com/ talks about how diapers saved a house from a flash-fire.

Gravatar I have 2 brothers and 3 daughters. None of us ever had disposables. OK our young ones were brought up in Africa where we had servants to do the washing, and sun to dry it. My mother taught my wife early potty training. Just hold baby over a potty after every feed ... oftens saves a nappy wash

Gravatar And this is why I will never have children. There is no way I would ever have anything in my house that runs the risk of defacating on my furniture. Its also funny how we're expected to believe a 9 month old successfully wears underwear.
