I'm not discounting your choice of connectors for the wall-plates you show, but I'd be tempted to use Speakon's, the industry standard in pro audio for speaker terminations, as connectors for off-grid household use. Proven in the touring audio industry where its show to show every other night.

There is a huge difference in an audio requirement, and a power requirement. Audio connectors won't handle large amperage power needs. An audio connector will melt down and possibly catch fire.
