I have two of these from ThinkGeek.com, but I really wish I'd gotten the big hand-crank version. I find that medium size Shake-a Shake-a's just don't stay as bright as I need long enough. Are the larges better?

These are great for short trips in the yard, but I'm usually out searching for some dang chicken or other who's gotten lost, and for that, I need a wide beam and a longer charge. I actually end up using hte 3-led light on my crank-charge Grundig/Elan emergency radio most of the time now,and save my shake-a-shake-as for indoor searches.
