LED bulbs cost too much money for the light they produce. I just bought one that said it was equal to a 60 watt bulb, from CCrane. Cost was $45 and it put out a weird color of white light that was more like a 20 watt bulb.
The cost will have to come down, and lighting improve to have all but the hardcore energy buffs utilize them.

This sure is amazing. I never thought or heard about people saving energy buy using LEDs instead of light bulbs.

I eagerly await the pictures and more detailed tech specs so I can try this myself!

120k mcd for $0.30 / each isn't expensive. We aim each bulb for specific spot lighting.
