I just found your site and am working my way through the story and info. We are preparing to set up a roof-water harvesting system too. We hope to have it in place for spring, though I would like to have some of it done for stock water in the barn this winter. I'm also interested in what you are doing on the energy front, living off the grid. We will get there eventually, but the technical parts of developing a home system have me stalled right now.
