You should take a look at the composting flush toilets that Anna Eddy describes in her book Solviva. The worms do the composting and the water (with a bit of additional filtering) can go into your gray water system. We have used them and they are great. We plan to convert our house to this kind of system and include on in the eco-cabin we have planned for guests who come to the farm.

I have been thinking about constructing a biogass digester to produce methane from manure. This little potty bucket looks like a good way to get the human goods into the digester. I was thinking about doing it in developing countries at the village level. Thanks for the post.
