I am curious how you got the powers that be to allow for a graywater system? Do you have any running water? Last I knew, NH State laws requires holding tank/leach field type set up if you have any type of running water. We are very interested in gray water systems and have been contemplating using such in the building of our green home. Thanks for a response.

Laws vary from community to community. There also different rulings if a dwelling is considered seasonal, or full time, or if it's temporary or permanent. We have running water, obtained from a cistern using rainwater recovery, and a 12volt pump with a pressure tank. Our greywater goes though a biofilter before entering the garden.
