Gravatar You know, this is the second place today that has posted a review of this book.

It is hard to find books that deal with preparing sons for marriage/adulthood. (I'm a mother of 3 boys. I've looked for these books.)

Please enter me in your drawing!

Gravatar I've been reading books like this. Trying to get a head start on raising my son to be a man, husband, and father. Better to be pro-active than re-active!

Gravatar I have two boys and a girl that God is allowing us, so far to raise (we gave our oldest daughter back to him last fall). I would love to read this book and be more equipped to raise them to be godly spouses and parents.

Gravatar I'd love a copy of this for my sister and brother in law who are raising five daughters!

Gravatar Oh, this looks really interesting. I have four kids, you know, and marriage preparation makes kind of makes me queasy.

Gravatar Sounds like an excellent book. This academic emphasis is a hard one to shake. I'm in the middle of dealing with it myself. It's so scary to lose the world's mindset and simply, implicitly trust God. And the a,b,c, formula to parenting? Flew right out the window when my daughter turned 13 and was right on target for the aliens taking my child. Arghhh...how do people who do not have the Lord do this?

Gravatar This may be one of the most challenging jobs as a parent. Some days I'm convinced these children will NEVER find anyone who will put up with them, and other days I'm convinced no one will be good enough. We need all the help we can get!

Gravatar Hmm, this has been an accidental theme in my reading lately -- I pick up various random books on seemingly diverse subjects, and they turn out to be on the topic of courtship, dating, and marriage. I think it might be time to take my head out of the sand and admit that my kids are growing up, and that we need to think about these things.

I'd love to be entered in the drawing. Thanks.

Gravatar Sounds intriguing! I would love to be entered...thanks!

Gravatar Ohhh, this does look interesting. I fall into the trap of thinking it's Dad's "job" to teach them to be men. It's my job not to strangle them before he can get that job right. (Said mostly tongue-in-cheek, you know me.) But, it takes a family.

Gravatar I would love to hear/see anything Voddie has to communicate. He is especially great on this topic.

Gravatar You are the second person I've read that has recommended this book. I would love to read it.

Gravatar Awesome! I'd like to enter.
