Gravatar When you do something that is not on your to-do-list, be sure and write it down then cross it off... makes you feel like you've accomplished a lot.

Gravatar Glad to read you again! Welcome back! Don't feel that organizing makes you boring. It gives you control over your surroundings which frees you from the anxiety of chaos. You're coming closer to being a "free spirit" all the time. Looking forward to reading more about your new found freedom, and gathering more tips!

Gravatar Welcome back!! And those crate covers are precious.

Gravatar The only problem is that you can't use hanging folders if you cover the crate. Hmm. I'll have to make slits in the sides.

Gravatar I was going to give you the same advice your mom did...

Anyway, when I was a single mom and homeschooling, I ran a day care in my home to pay my way. I would make (realistic) lists of things to do and cross them off as they got done. I would then write in all the other things I happened to do that were not on the list and cross those off too. This was how I knew my days weren't just sinking into oblivion and that I was actually a productive human being. If anything was left undone on the list, I would turn the page and write it fresh at the top of the next day's list. Some tasks would get written several times before getting done, but I wouldn't feel so bad because I had a record of all my other "accomplishments". If I'd had a husband I'd have used it to refer to when he asked about my day.

Glad to hear your voice. It has been a long time.

Gravatar I'm so glad to be reading your blog again.

And if our house is any indication, there will be fierce competition for any job that centers on using a 3-hole punch.
