Happy Anniversary! My father (a retired pastor) has always said that forgetting one's anniversary is a sign of a great marriage - you both love each other so much and are so content with each other that every day is wonderful, and you have no need of singling out one day of the year to remind yourselves that you love each other.

Steve and I have forgotten our anniversary many times, most recently our 25th anniversary. We laughed about it and enjoyed telling it!
