I'm so happy for you guys.
We have had big changes in our schedule too.

Once upon a time, we had a bakery.
Owning a bakery means one must go to work on Christmas, on Thanksgiving, 365, 24/7.

While my hubby likes to be his own boss....
we are delighted with the freedom and family time afforded us since hubby became a computer guy.

Jeff finally starts first shift on the day after Thanksgiving. Every few weeks he'll still have to work a Saturday but now he'll be working from morning until mid-afternoon. For the first time ever, he'll have all his evenings free. We could join a small group if we wanted! It's almost like we're finally grown-ups! Well it felt that way before we realized that 2 of the 4 jobs I applied for would have me gone in the evenings now. Only one job opportunity would be M-F fulltime. It would be a miracle. Doesn't that guy know we have bills to pay and I like to watch TV in the evenings?! He should call me back. Evenings and weekends free...we're so close.
