Agreed. It's one thing for Tina Fey to impersonate Palin (quite hilariously) using Palin's own words and another like this monstrosity on "Countdown".
I read Musto's column in the Village Voice frequently and he does tend to cross over that imaginary line.

I didn't like it. Parody is one thing, flat-out viciousness is another. I don't care if it is Sarah Palin. Give it up with her.

He sucks big time. A very important aspect of the liberal critique of corporate media is that time is precious and that covering bullshit stories is a way of denying people access to things that are uncomfortable to corporate interests. Sending out a horrific comedian over and over ruins the good that a show like Countdown does otherwise. Not to mention how it undermines the show and liberal media's credibility.
