I have been monitoring my local bees quite closly this year. There is a big mix of types you know.

And there is a type that I have not noticed from years past. It's smaller, shorter and a little "browner" than the usual kinds here.

But there seems to be a lot of them around, but we keep bee-attractors a-plenty here so the garden grows well.
