It's terrible and it needs to change, NOW. What's worse is when a co-worked leaves a "homosexuality is a sin and you are going to hell" brochure on your desk. This happened this week, in America. To a friend.
I'd be the friend LOL, Soemtimes it seems a never ending battle doesnt it? But there are people fighting for the LGBT community everywhere.. There was the very elequent black state senator of Massachussets, Diane Wilkerson, who said, in the debate about the anti-gay constitutional amendment in that state:
"I know the pain of being less than equal and I cannot and will not impose that status on anyone else. I was but one generation removed from an existence in slavery. I could not in good conscience ever vote to send anyone to that place from which my family fled."
