i HAVE read and followed joan for the last 2 decades. love her. and she has had a rough go of it lately, no doubt. i read a piece on her in the sf chronicle a few weeks back. i will be reading that one soon!

I love Joan Didion! And I love that you love her her too.

What a wonderful marriage she had with John Gregory Dunne. I always wanted to be just like them when I grew up.

let me know what you think about the didion book. i heard two interviews with her and i really thought this would be a great book to read. what a courageous woman. the fact that she can still get out of bed in the morning, blows me away.
