Personally, I'm waiting for the great "I Forgot" rationale. You know ~ I forgot that paper I wrote about limiting civil rights when I was in college. I forgot I voted against fair trade laws. I forgot torture was illegal. Yeah, the "I Forgot" is always fun. 
I am very disappointed with the Democrats.
We seem to be a very sorry sight at the moment and need to begin showing some strength before the emperor decides to re-elect himself for a third term...........

When we allow ppl in our govt who "don't recall" shit, it just blows my mind. It's that easy? So Mr. Meulemans, did you forget to pay your taxes this year? "Um, I don't recall." Oh, okay, no problem...don't worry, no jailtime for you.
What a crock!
Hey, what I do with my kids is say, "You just a took a little bit of candy from my basket." OR "You just told someone that they were stupid, just for one quick minute, didn't you." It works everytime, those little children confess right away after the "you just lied a little bit didn't you." Maybe some judge should try the tricks of a second grade teacher...... If it is just a little bit it cannot be all that bad, right?
I can hardly wait for Sunday also. Maybe I will have enough guts to post a pic of the man in my life.

and it sickens me. i listened to a lot of the hearings last week on npr. and am more uninspired than i was previously.
he is an excellent fibber, alito. and his wife sorta creeps me out, too. although, the tears were an excellent sympathy ploy.
yes, i am ruthless. and fed-up as well.
If Roe v Wade gets overturned.....does it then become a State issue?
Alito rubs me wrong. I can accept people having different political points of view from me.....but I'm not big on liars.

Just once I'd love to have a nominee who had the b@lls to sit there and say "well, I personally believe X but my reading of the law says Y and if seated I will have to follow the law" Just once, a little honesty in the process.

I'm showing my age here, but the first time I remember the "I can't recall" excuse was the old gipper back in the 80s. Considering the disease he later bacame afflicted with, he may have actually been telling the truth. Not.
Listening to excerpts of Martin Luther King on NPR today really illuminated the difference between greatness and all the scum running the White House.
