if you click on the link on my blog, on the right there's a little box that's blue and it says "You can help!" So in there it says "donate by mail." if you click that, it brings up a form with my id number and name and all that on it. you can print out that form and send it in with your check - that way, the donation will be credited to my account.

I was flipping radio stations yesterday and came across Sean Hannity. What a F*cktard he is. He was blathering on and on that the only thing the liberals have on their plate is the "censure" conversation...
and that the Dems can't win the next election because we can't focus on finding a candidate.
I wanted to rip the radio out of the dashboard. He pisses me off beyond belief. Rubbing his face in his own words, making him smell his own stench, would be heavenly. We all have to make sure we can do that.

i've been thinking about the same kinds of stuff. we just don't know how to be good to people on a day to day basis. yeah, we rally when tragedy strikes... but being good to others every day, when there hasn't been a hurricane, or a terror strike... we suck at that.
you posted that great article a few days ago that ended with a reminder that jesus says, "if you love me, feed my sheep."
even if you aren't xtian, the idea behind those words should be a rallying cry for each and every day.
stb, find sometime to get fed (it sounds as though you are hungry) just don't go overboard on the ice cream.
and then find some time to feed the sheep of this world (i know that you already do) maybe it will light a fire under the rest of us.
The saddest part of all of this is that the wonderful people in this world like you are the ones who are burdened by all of this; the ones with no conscience or soul could care less!somehow I'm sure Ken Lay slept just fine last night!

As to everything that's wrong with the world... yeah, I know, it's us sensitive people that are bothered by it, and the ones w/o conscience who can sleep at night.
Although I think it's rare to find people who aren't at least somewhat haunted by their evil deeds. Only the truly psychopathic, or the truly evil, can knowingly commit evil and not be bothered by it. And of course there are also the truly crazy, who commit evil but think they are doing the right thing because of their insanity.
Anyway, I hope you are able to sleep better tonight.
I think we all need to take a break from watching the news. I think we are all over exposed to what's going wrong. And the news isn't usually into showing us what's right with the world, so it gives us a very skewed perspective.
There are people out there who try to do the right thing every day, who try to help others every day. But unfortunately that's not often newsworthy.

Yes. Evil power-hungry people have always existed. And beautiful gentle caring souls have always existed. But I'm convinced that these days we, as a species, are leaning too heavily toward Saturated Meanness. I too made posts of similar sentiment (What Teddy Said, Me vs We, Behaving Badly - Why?). Truthfully - are we evolving? Or is it instead devolution?
What else can be said? You are not alone in your worries and sleepless nights.
