I hate flip-flops, tomorrow I go to pick up our new car so I will whine about gas prices, flip flops get on my nerves, I can't stand sloppy language, New Yorkers know nothing about patience, I think about things so much that my head almost explodes, Ken Lay is a dick, and talking way too much...well. that's just fun!

Gravatar Sorry to hear about your uncomfortableness. I guess you need to lay back and take it easy for a while. Besides that, I hope all is well...

Gravatar HEY!
Tote that barge and lift that bale, will ya.
rqm

Gravatar you were born to better thnigs, obviously!
hope the back feels better.
and yeas, humanity is les and less human. you know?
xoxoxox

Gravatar Sorry to hear about your back. Welcome back to the workforce.

You should come up to the Iron Range in Northern MN for some lessons on poor grammar. Sorry to say, I use "you guys" a lot.

Hope all is well with your back tomorrow.

Mary

Gravatar Ahhhhhhhhh... tote that barge, lift that bale.

Having gotten used to my part time desk job I stood for 8 hours one day, without sitting down even once, at a floral design table Good Friday.

Man, out of shape is an understatement! I can so relate STB. My back hurts just thinking about the fact I committed myself for a week Mother's Day!

May I assume that the folks you deal with on a daily basis are loving your company?

Gravatar OOPS! That's my anonymous above and I can't believe I chose the same words as RQM!!!

Great minds, eh cousin? xoxo

Gravatar I don't know what you are required to wear, but if you can get away with it Nike makes some Airs in black that can almost pass for a dress loafer. I wear "running shoes" through the summer, but found some of those last fall when I wanted less "vent" trying to keep my feet a bit warmer. We do kick up a bit of breeze cruising around in there! Then there's that cold breeze along the river at 2AM when you walk to your car, lol!

St. Tropez sounds awfully good right now! Never been, but Joni seemed to think highly of it, among other!

Gravatar Yes--get comfortable shoes. And drink a lot of water. Your body will adjust--hang in there, sweetie.

Gravatar If we still feel young in our heads and our hearts, why is it that the body doesn't clue in????

Gravatar Work sucks...

Gravatar Hmmm, no wonder my staff hates me. I always address them as "Okay, Guys." Lesson learned Sounds like you work around a young crowd...?

Gravatar I'm with Sublime, work sucks. However, the money and benefits you get from doing the work is hard to give up.

I you get past that aching back in time for the big move

Gravatar Personally, I think it’s time to call it day and file a Worker’s Compensation claim.

I mean it’s been like, what, a week already.

Enough is enough.
I can't go on; I can't go on, no more, no.
Enough is enough

xx00xx

Gravatar I hardly ever have back pain.

But when I have, HOLY COW.

So sorry...

Jacuzzi anyone?

Gravatar Wasn't it Benjamin Franklin who said that work is the curse of the drinking classes?

Sorry to hear your back is not cooperating with your "in your head" age, STB.

I am fascinated, though, by your observations of the world not that you're back in the midst. I look forward to hearing more.

Gravatar Dammit... I also address my staff as "ok guys", and they happen to be all women! UUGh sorry.....

Flip flops..... hate them and of course imagine living in Florida where everybody owns several dozen pairs. Except for me of course, since Cole Hahn doesn't appear to manufacture such an item!

I was considering early retirement next year..... work just seems like too much fun now!
