Gravatar Bonjour!
Having spoken only french my first few years of life, I am actually sad not that I can't speak the language at all! I cannot roll my R's whatsoever.. I mean I SUCK at it.. so be happy that even with your southern drawl you can still speak french@!
Once I moved away from my family, no one really spoke french in the house anymore.. so it all went away...

I totally think that shrub's accent is fake.. it changes constantly and depending on where he is it gets thicker or thinner..
anyway.. hope you are having a great week

Gravatar I envy you your ability. I do great in Spanish - I can roll my 'R's' with the best of them. But French! It's that back in the throat thing. Oh - I can do a passable imitation of a French accent while speaking English - but not in French itself. Even with a dedicated lover trying to teach me - I was horrible. All I ever managed was Je t'aime!

Gravatar i bet you have a nice voice. but i get what you mean. i don't like my voice either.

Gravatar I speak quite a bit of French, and have been told my accent is very very good.

It helps to speak that other Romance language very well: Spanish.

And I just love languages period.

Gravatar Here I am from a country with two official languages and yet I only speak the one. It sometimes makes me ashamed. However, I can swear in Quebec French and then say Je ne comprend pas with a beautiful Quebec accent.

A bien tot, paul

Gravatar I'm proud of my whole voice, which sounds exactly the way you'd expect an alto raised in Florida among rednecks by a mother (and her relatives) from Michigan would sound. IOW, Midwestern drawl, or drawly Midwestern. I sound more Southern when I'm tired, angry, or stressed.

I think GWB's accent is fake, too.

Gravatar I adore your voice. It's real. Whenever I change my voicemail message, I have to intentially lower my voice or I sound five. Its silly.

Hope you are well. I am still breathing, though barely
