I remember those dark days of the 80's! Where was bette midler? the divine queen of the bathouse?

Gravatar Gollllllly, I wished I had seen both those shows. Was Ms. Taylor coherent? I remember her from a recent Academy Awards show and the poor thing couldn't even read the tele-prompter. I do give her high marks for keeping AIDS awareness on the front burner. "Bless her heart," as we say in the South.

Gravatar Love Liz and Kathy.
That would be a fun lunch table!

Gravatar God bless Liz Taylor.

Gravatar Definitely an interesting woman who's lived one hell of an interesting life!

Gravatar When Liz began to speak up about AIDS I was a young kid. I remember members of my family saying things like "Why is she defending those queers and their disease?"

I wish I had been wise enough then to articulate a decent defense but at the time I could not even wrap my brain around AIDS, much less those condemning those aflicted.

I admire her. It took guts to stand in the gap and speak up where so many kept their mouth shut.

Gravatar Yes, I agree with everyone. Liz Taylor is truly amazing even though she has had her questionable and incoherent moments in life.

I absolutely love Kathy Griffin.

Gravatar I swear I posted here days ago. Some smart-ass comment about Ken Lay, and how he was probably plotting suicide. Maybe I decided it was in poor taste.

Just checking in on you, darling.

Gravatar Liz Taylor certainly came to the forefront when persons infected with/affected by Aids needed a voice.

Ive always first admired her as a great actress and secondly as goddess of the tabloids.

The lady could certainly make headlines!

Whatever happened to my Liz Taylor paper dolls?
