And you know what? These people who listen to these freaks will be out to vote no matter if they were assured they would be killed for doing so. They may be wrong, but they are 100% passionate.
Our side, on the other hand, will sit at home on voting day if there is a threat of rain. And if we do get out to vote, we sit and bitch and do nothing. At least there are a few, including yourself, who are saying enough is enough. Perhaps a groundswell is occuring but what needs to occur is a complete all out intellectual assault on these agents of stupidity.
This article was interesting and scary. Slater covered bits of a campaign I worked on, though I never got to know him personally.
I remember going to the state GOP convention in '98 and it was just as bad.
