Ain't that the truth?!!! Same here.

The few stocks I have... you know, the "safe" ones... seem to be falling daily. Oh sure, they tease occasionally and go up a few cents... but, basically it's disappearing before my very eyes. Then there's that IRA - never mind. That seems to just sit there and do nothing.

Seriously thinking about cashing in and hiding what's left under the mattress!

The only investments I ever had were stock GM gave us in lieu of profit sharing in the late 70's, then told us we had to sell or trade for other stock in the late 80's when they were playing the same kind of games with it. I got about $350 for mine...

Sorry to hear of someone's honest effort to do the right thing being gobbled up by yet another goverment backed turkey!

Someday it would be fun to roast just one of them!

Well at least you made the effort and tried - 'you gotta be in it to win it' and all that. My money just goes South due to my over indulgent nature!!
