Ah, took me a minute to get that one (as in, married for a decade plus and always wear PJs to bed)!

Gravatar I've been telling my husband he might want to wear boxers at least ... but he's stubborn.

Gravatar Bahahaha!

That equation also applies to risk of nightmares, which as far as I know, are totally unpredictable.

I suggest wearing jammies til the kids are old enough to knock and WAIT. :P

Gravatar This is how bad I am: I totally wouldn't have gotten it had Jennie not posted her comment (I've been married 8 years...). That's too funny! I think the equation could be altered to read:

thunderstorms + 7 year old + no PJ's = therapy

Gravatar I didn't get it at first either! I am way too cold of a person to ever not wear pjs and sweatshirts and socks to bed, even during the honeymoon phase.
And croup?!? Yikes. Hope you are all recovered!

Gravatar HILARIOUS! That is too funny. I'm so glad they're happy and now have his son! YEAH! That'll learn her, though

Gravatar 1) I have a couple of friends whose kids get croup on a regular basis, so I can only sympathize and tell you to hang in there--he should grow out of it. Unless you're talking about yourself...

2) If you can't blog about the gross and petty, I'd have absolutely nothing to say.

3) My 7 year old always seems to need to go to the bathroom when I am getting out of the shower. I fear he may be scarred for life.

Gravatar oh wow! That is so the reason our door has a lock on it. That way you can at least throw some clothes on as you are heading for your crying child at the door who is convinced that his parents left him. No - I don't know this from personal experience or anything.:D

Gravatar It took 2 readings to get the PJ bit. Hee hee. Since Peanut is a nightly occupant of our bed, going sans PJs is a no-no.

I hope everyone is healthy now.

Gravatar Whoops!

Gravatar It also took me a minute to get it, now I am still laughing! A while back we had a hot and muggy night here. I came home from work, at night, and checked on my kids and husband. T and my hus were so cute asleep in only their tighty whiteys, I almost woke them with my laughter.

Gravatar hahah, I did a double-take on this one, probs 'cause I like never sleep in anything but Chanel No. 5.

Gravatar That is really funny! Thank you for sharing, it gave me a good laugh this morning. I have memories of walking into my dad and stepmother's room and wondering why they had the covers up to their chins.

On another note...I found your post and thought I’d reach out to say hello and ask if you’d like to receive a free Maya & Miguel DVD. If you’d like to receive the DVD just email me at Kerri at boldmouth.com with your address and I’ll have it shipped it out to you.

I don’t know if you’re familiar with Maya & Miguel, a show on PBS in the afternoons -- http://pbskidsgo.org/mayaandmiguel -- that emphasizes cultural diversity and language learning but I’m reaching out to talk to parents about the program as part of a marketing project I’m working on with Scholastic.

If you do choose to blog about Maya & Miguel show or episodes on the DVD, please make it clear how you received the information. Our goal is to be open and honest with everyone we reach.

Kerri Roberts, BoldMouth

Gravatar My sister constantly has me laughing, so it's great I can get a chuckle out of her now and then.
Kids help keep everything in perspective, so I'm so glad to have my 7 year old "bonus" son with us.

Gravatar Noted.

Gravatar Hey--where are you?
