I greatly admire D's pedaling prowess and I am greatly envious: my folks never let me pedal in flip flops. My mother always said something about falling and skinning my feet and then being unable to walk somewhere for help. Of course, all of this was waaaaaaay before helmets ever entered in to the equation, so I supposed skinned feet would have been the least of my worries.
Ahhh, good times over there! Is it just me or is D riding fast? The video makes it look like Daddymatic is running after him

Love it. Along the lines of the cupcake cuteness, my daughter now says "look at me mama, look at my face..." when I'm clearly not listening.
Not only have I turned into my mother, but she's turning into me.

Gosh, Stef, it's been forever since I've been in contact but I was up early this morning, a chance to be BY MYSELF (my kids sleep til 7 or 7:30 -- gotta love that) and I was missing you and wondering how you and your family are. We are doing well around here. D is 4 1/2 and H is 19 months. Hard to believe. And I loved reading your post. Seems like D will be just as witty and charming as his momma and daddy. And such a big boy! Sheesh...
