I'd like to see Tonsils Dean show up to speak to lawyers in Columbus, Ohio - he might actually make some of them realize how utterly insane their party and party leaders (and by extension their party's positions) truly are!

One of them was waxing euphoric over Live8 and, since I'm retiring 7/29 anyway, I let her know that I thought the entire thing was an exercise in ego-stroking and would accomplish NOTHING for starving Africa. Far better, I told her, was for competent citizens of this country (farmers, mechanics, nurses - people of that ilk who actually contribute something to our society) to go over to Africa and TEACH the Africans to support THEMSELVES! She was astonished at the thought! Dimwits!
