I'm sure this was 1/2 deliberate, and 1/2 accidental - probably some stoned tech was screwing around when he shouldn't have, and put it on national TV. The 'laughing' heard at the time would strongly support this. Stupid stoners.

He DID lie to the American people. In 2002, Cheney said "I will never appear on CNN with an X over my face."

He's eating those words now!

You don't have to a Republican to believe that. The last few election returns seem to indicate that the majority don't want the Democrats in control.

Back to the mysterious 'X', being somewhat knowledgable in computer imaging software/hardware, I cannot envision the glitch that could superimpose the X image on Cheneys image and I'm sure that it is only coincidental that Republicans seem to be the only ones that are subject to these glitchs.

He linked saddam to 911.
But a Presidential brief from 9/21/01 says there was no connection.

The excuse he didn't know might work for the Uncurious in Chief, but not for Cheney. I haven't heard anything about him not liking to read.
