GOP and the City Comments

I can smell the sulphur all the way in NJ. What a douche this guy is. And for the reaction he got; it is shameful! We do we invest so much money that could be better spen in an organization that is so worthless and anti-American? After working with the NYC Dept. Of Ed. I can tell you were 5 billion a year is better suited! F Hugo and the rest of his el diablo mo fo's!

Gravatar Hey dumbass, the UN headquaters is not "American Soil" just as no foriegn embassies are "American Soil". What a maroon!

Gravatar Bought my last tank from them this week...before the news of all this broke.

Gravatar John, seeing that you find comfort with the likes of Hugo Chavez, than maybe you should go live in Venezuela. Don't forget to write us, to let us know how you like it!!

Gravatar I'm planning on filling up with Citgo right when I get off work. Just to piss off the freepers.

Gravatar John...it sure looks like the UN is in New York, which happens to be a city in America.

Gravatar Hey John... dumbass.

I don't see where anyone in these comments said that it was "American Soil".

Technically, you are correct; however, it's way past time to dis-band the U.N. It is a travesty and it is corrupt beyond belief.

Gravatar Jarjar, your a brainless twit.

Gravatar 10 more minutes, and I'm going straight to Citgo (actually, the closest one is 10 miles away) and filling up on Premium.

I think I'm gonna start using Citgo exclusively from now on. I will offset your silly freeper boycott.

Gravatar Citgo is helping the poor and alleviating poverty caused by Bush. You should be boycotting bush.

Gravatar It's about time someone decided to boycott Citgo. Dictators need to know that we have power too.

Boycott Citgo!

Gravatar jarjar - Go fill up on Citgo. Hell drink the crap for all I care. See this is a free country, unlike Iran and Venezuela.

Gravatar Right there with you man... check my post on it here:
http://thetomoreport.blogspot.co...t- citgo_21.html

Gravatar This country is free, but unfortunately not a whole lot more desirable than either Iran or Venezuela. Viva la United States of Torture and Endless War!

Gravatar I linked back to your post and "borrowed" your two pictures for a post on my site. I couldn't get the trackback to work properly and just wanted to let you know...thanks for the inspiration.

Gravatar jarjar, people like you make me sick because they think they have an answer for everything when in fact they don't. example: A captured terrorist knows the details regarding a plot to detonate a nuclear weapon in a major city in America potentially killing millions. YOu're interrogating him. The guy won't talk, so the law says to take coercive measures to get him to do so.
You'd let all them people die, wouldn't you, rather than stick him in in a cold cell? I guess you'd be real satisfied with yourself, all smug knowing that you're better than they are.

Gravatar Furthermore to my post, I think that any person that would do such a thing should be put in leg irons and led away to jail

Gravatar FYI - I went to the CITGO "locator" on their web to find stations in my area, and guess what came back?

7 (seven) different 7-Eleven Stations???????

I thought 7-Eleven cut their ties with that asshat?

Gravatar Jarjar- I suggest you move to Venezuela -

Chavez will take good care of you. If your lucky, you might even get his girglfriend Cindy Sheehan to give you back rub.

I'm sure you can talk as freely there as he did here.

Gravatar I just wanted to pass the web link to the Citgo store locator on to you and your readers.

http://www.citgo.com/ CITGOLocato...toreLocator.jsp

I went there and found all the Citgo stores in my area, so now I DEFINITELY know which stores NOT to do business with.

PASS IT ON!

Gravatar jarjar, maybe they have an airmiles program ; you buy so much gas and you can get an all expense paid ,one way trip to Caracas.

Gravatar Anyone in the area should boycott these tradeshows that CITGO is invloved with:

http://www.citgo.com/Products/ Tr...howCalendar.jsp

Gravatar Way to go, Parley! Yo the man!

Gravatar Re: The American soil comment...
Chavez went to Harlem today and spewed the same garbage he spewed at the U.N. yesterday. Last I checked Harlem is still AMERICAN SOIL.

You blog and runners are annoying.

Gravatar The Citgo boycott is stupid. These are American jobs at stake here. The world's oil supply is limited, and this boycott only harms Americans. Wake the hell up...

Gravatar So, if Citgo is Venezuelan, and others like Exxon, Mobil, etc. use gas from the Middle East, which ones are American?

Gravatar I wouldn't be surprised if a Cena/Mickie tagteam happened. I would be happy to no point and going on and on about it on this site.

Gravatar Thank for for the thumbnails. They are on my blog now.

I live near two Citgos. They will not get another dime.

Gravatar I'm with the boycott
http://amboytimes.typepad.com/ th...blast_chav.html
http://amboytimes.typepad.com/ th...chavez_com.html

We really need to get away from all the totalitarian oil producers, but I'll leave that for another post.

Gravatar Got to buy it somewhere - Citgo is owned by the Chavez regime.

Gravatar John,
He said the same thing in Harlem. That American soil enough for you?

Gravatar Count me in. I linked it.
Don't think I can do trackback with Blogspot.
http://blogidaho.com

Gravatar Add me to your ranks, I quit buying CITGO gas right after the last election in Venezuela. Thanks for spreading the word. I’ve posted the “don’t buy gas from this ass” picture on my own blog, http://rockymountainneocon.blogspot.com/ Keep the faith.

Gravatar I would rather run out of gas and push my car to a Texaco than drive in to a Citgo.

Gravatar I'm on board. It's called capitalism. It works.

It's also taking a lesson from the Civil Rights movement when African Americans refused to ride public transportation because they had to sit in the back of the bus; it's called "I'm not going to subsidize my own oppression" or "I'm not going to fund my enemies."

Gravatar I've not been buying from Citgo since last January.

Welcome aboard!

Gravatar the man - what's your point? I never claimed anything to the contrary. All I want to know is where one should go to buy gas if they want to avoid Venezuelan and Middle Eastern affiliations.

There's no BP in my area, so that's out.

Gravatar Got to buy it somewhere - buy your gas from a company whose profits come back to the states.

Until all our cars run on Jack Daniels or ear wax, we are stuck with gas.

Gravatar Thanks for the pics...

I posted a bit of a thank you on MY blog for you and one other...

TexasFred’s » Some Special Recognition…

Gravatar Bush tries to overthrow Chavez. Pat Robertson says Chavez should be killed. No reaction from right wing blogs.

Chavez calls Bush the devil. Right wing blogs go ballistic.

Funny.

Gravatar SympathyForTheDevil - 1) when did "bush" try to overthrow Chavez?
2) Pat Robertson is a looney, plus he did that on American soil, not in Caracas.

Gravatar First, this guy hates Bush (not the USA) because Bush TRIED TO OVERTHROW HIS GOVERNMENT - and almost succeeded. Don't Republicans support getting revenge on somebody who tried to kill you or your family?

Second, he's done more to help low- and fixed-income Americans (like your grand/parents) heat their homes than the entire Congress and Executive branch. People in the Northeast know who contributed to the Citizens Energy Corp.'s Winter Assistance Program to keep the elderly from choosing between heat and food. People on the Gulf Coast know whose employees were on the ground helping people immediately after Hurricane Katrina. People in Philadelphia know who helped 25,000 families heat their homes after the oil companies jacked up their prices following Katrina (even though their heating oil didn't come from the Gulf Coast). And he ain't named George or Dennis or Dr. Bill (they made the oil companies their favorite charity), he's named Hugo!

And I support BUYcott Citgo. Filled the tank tonight.

Gravatar the man - >>>buy your gas from a company whose profits come back to the states.

Gravatar the man - }}}buy your gas from a company whose profits come back to the states.{{{

And what company or companies would that be?

Gravatar I am so in on this one.

http://theautoprophet.blogspot.c...-and- screw.html

Gravatar PLEASE sign me up. I've heard about Citgo for the last year or so but until Chavez visited the U.N., I didn't realize the significance of buying from Citgo. I'll NEVER give another cent to this idiot.

Please add me to your blogroll and I will add you to my sidebar.

Kudos!
Airborne!

Gravatar DON'T PUMP CITGO GAS!!!!!!!!! HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE GOING TO LET OTHER COUNTRIES CRAP ALL OVER US? IT SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME HOW AS AMERICANS SOME OF YOU JUST DON'T GET IT. SEND THE MESSAGE LOUD AND CLEAR, AND SEE IF THEY DON'T THINK TWICE BEFORE SPITTING ON US ON OUR OWN TURF NEXT TIME, ONCE THEIR PROFITS SLIDE.

Gravatar Don't you think Exxon/Mobil, BP, etc. also have investments in Venezuela and Iran??? You boycott one you might as well boycott them all. You really should be boycotting car makers who make gas hogs in the first place.

Boycotting Citgo, etc. only hurts the local gas station owner - not the company (this is right-wing rhetoric, BTW from the late 80s when everyone was calling for an Exxon boycott).

You guys are all funny - but not really "ha ha" funny.

Gravatar At least they're (EXXON, Mobile) not spitting on us on our land as the world laughs. Ya ever get tired of them who can't wait to see us fall, yet we're the first ones they call if they do??????????

Gravatar Exxon/Mobil (note the spelling, Bruce) have been, uh, "spitting" on you for decades. When they can buy bigger tax breaks than the entire NASA budget for 5 years (here's a quarter, son, go fly to Mars on that...), you're being spit on. When they make more money than any company in history, while charging you more money for adding MTBE, more money for taking out MTBE, more money for replacing MTBE with "cheaper" ethanol, amd more money throughout the country because the refineries in LA went off line - even though there is no economic way to get any gasoline to or from the Gulf Coast, you're being spit on.

And when the proce of gasoline mysteriously drops weeks before another Congressional election (3rd time in a row), even though there's another formulation change occurring (dropping the ethanol), you know you're being spit on.

Or maybe your just too politically myopic to see that they're really just pissin' on your leg and telling you it's just raining out?

Gravatar You're entitled to your opinion, but I don't see most people on this board (or this country) for that matter, agreeing with you. Maybe you ought to take a hint.

Gravatar Please review my blog to see a boycott that I have started over Citgo. I'm working together with another organization that is also coordinating a boycott. Click here for more details.

Gravatar I found your site through Mark Tapscott's blog and fully support boycotting Citgo and anything Chavez profits from.

There is a refinery on St Croix USVI that is partially owned by Venezuela. I believe their partner there is Hess, should we boycott Hess also?

I'd rather walk than put one penny into a dictator's war chest!

Gravatar I've been saying this everytime I'm in the US for some years now and I know many other people have been saying this and most of them were dismissed and not taken seriously. Too bad that you had to wait until you saw it personally to realize you had to stop buying from citgo.

I only hope you start taking this kook seriously now.

Gravatar "First, this guy hates Bush (not the USA) because Bush TRIED TO OVERTHROW HIS GOVERNMENT -"

What a load of hooey. Tell me, if this is true, why the guy that appeared on TV stating that Chavez was thrown out of power and arguably a head of that supposed coupe, was later appointed as the interior minister?

Gravatar "Boycotting Citgo, etc. only hurts the local gas station owner - not the company"

Tell them to switch gas providers.

Gravatar FYI folks...posted today

7-Eleven Dropping Venezuela-Backed Citgo
From Associated Press
September 27, 2006 11:16 AM EDT
DALLAS - Convenience store operator 7-Eleven Inc. is dropping Venezuela-backed Citgo as its gasoline supplier at more than 2,100 locations and switching to its own brand of fuel.

Gravatar Guy from vzla...you called it baby! Gas stations should change gas providers and 7-11 is doing just that.

Gravatar WAY TO GO 7-ELEVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gravatar The Boston politician opposing Citgo has been threatened. Last year the Boston/federal politicians did business with Chavez (cheap oil) and would sell their mothers for a dime. Make no mistake about it, most Massachusetts politicians detest the USA and all that it stands for. I do not understand why and I believe Adams, Franklin, etc. must be turning in their graves.

Gravatar Get this. Citgo's president made a phonecall to channel 8 (Venezuela's PBS with the slight difference that the goverment runs it) yesterday to say that it was not 7-Eleven who wanted to take distance from Citgo, but the other way around!!!!!

Yeah, right. This guys are known for blocking the sun with a finger, and they're so hilarious at that

Gravatar add me to that list of Citgo Boycotters. I've been boycotting them for a long time.

Gravatar The other oil companies buy their gas from Arab countries which use them to fund terrorism. The companies buy them indirectly from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and even Libya through distributors. Even officially, 4% of Libya's oil goes to to the US. 3% of US oil comes from Colombia, the most bloody violator of human rights in Latin America. Saudi Arabia gives its profits to the "royal family" (eg Bin Laden).

This is far worse than a democratically elected Venezuelan president who conflicts with the Bush administration over globalization.

The area I live in Eastern Pennsylvania has the highest unemployment in the state. All the jobs are going to Mexico and Latin America because people are getting paid 1 an hour for a job that would pay a US worker 20$ an hour.

The first time I heard Venezuela criticized on the news, it was CNN saying Chavez spoke at an "anti-American" rally in Argentina. Then she cut over to a reporter actually at the protest. He said, no, the protest is not anti-American. They like the American people. This is an anti-globalization protest, and the people are protesting the system that gives them horrible working conditions. Van Sustren, the CNN moderator replied, "Anti-globalist, Anti-American, whatever," totally ignoring the fact that the reporter said they were not anti-American!

The corporations who move to Venezuela don't like it now that the government is regulating them to make them pay decent wages. And if Latin American countries paid people decent wages, Mexicans would not be pouring across the border, and jobs would not be pouring out of America.

If Chavez has a conflict with Bush and the corporate news about globaliztion, that's fine- our country would be better off without it.

Buy oil from Venezuela, not Saudi Arabia.

Gravatar fyi: icalled for this boycott way back in may:

http://astuteblogger.blogspot.co...-citgo- gas.html

if you read me everyday, then you'll be ahead of the curve.

Gravatar "This is far worse than a democratically elected Venezuelan president who conflicts with the Bush administration over globalization."

You sound like a guy who thinks Bush stole the elections, right? well, news flash for you, Chavez not only resigned one time and there was no official comeback, but the recall election was stolen from us. He is an illegitimate president for over at least one year now.

"If Chavez has a conflict with Bush and the corporate news about globaliztion, that's fine- our country would be better off without it."

chavez' conflict is with anyone who opposes him. He hates Americans as much as he hates Europeans. Whenever you feel investigational, I can give you a link with a scan of pamphlets given away in the subway by chavez' hords about hatred towards europeans and how they should be sent away of our "land"

Wise-up man. chavez is a ignorant psycho who doesn't do a thing that castro does not tell him to do. Did you forgot what castro did in the 60's in Harlem? castro told him to do that together with your own commies.

The iranian president was in Venezuela the day before he went to the UN. They are all doing the same thing.

Oh, and for kicks I'll link to you the new banners Hezbollah used the day after chavez "spoke" at the UN

http://iblnews.com/story.php?id=17998
http://www.26noticias.com.ar/ind...es& idNota=22230
http://www.noticierodigital.com/ ...dd04387a296550e

He made no comment negating or against those banners.

So, he's not a terrorist, eh? think again

Gravatar found this page through a search engine. if anybody is still checking - good comments from both sides but there's one thing i dont see answered anywhere - what specific oil companies are the right ones to buy from? no venezuela, no middle east, just american. what company is the right one?

Gravatar I think it is about time for Americans to start looking out for Americans. Buy American. Don't be so lazy as to follow all the advertising crap out there. Investigate before you buy, BUY AMERICAN! Boycott Citgo, HELL BOYCOTT ALL COMPANIES THAT IMPORT OIL FROM ANYWHERE.

Gravatar Hugo Chavez continues his rhetoric, insulting Americans on 9/11: "Shit Americans can go to hell." And he continues to threaten to double oil prices by withholding deliveries to the US.

We need to stop funding a supporter of terrorism by not buying Venezuelan. We need to send the message we won't be bullied by a two-bit thug. Boycott Citgo!
