Good God that humor! I also agree with you on the clothing. Unless they are paying me to advertise, I don't like it (hubby says I squeak when I walk). I can't imagine shopping for winter clothes (97 here today) and last but not least....wanna come down and do my laudry.......sigh.
I'm right there with you on the walking billboards. I was bummed when the only choices in pjs I could find for my daughter a few months ago were Winnie the Pooh or Dora the Explorer. I just don't buy into all the characters, advertising, etc.
Also, what's up w/ all the companies trying to resell us our childhood? Strawberry Shortcake, Carebears, etc.
Anyway, you can get great some shit at 2nd hand or consignment stores. That's where Ava gets the majority of her clothes and they often look just as good as clothes my friends pay top dollar for at Baby Gap or Gymboree.
I shop the sales at the Children's Place for my kids, their clothes are made well, so they last a long time, Maddie is still wearing stuff from Llast summer (she's a tiny little thing) and I can buy one size up for Shane for extra wear. They have good deals, and the clothes are usually Walmart priced, you should totally check the site. I can send you coupons if you want them. Do you guys have a post wide garage sale coming up? Ours is Sept 17th, and we need winter stuff since we just moved from TX. I am so excited, I LOVE me a garage sale. Maybe one day we'll be in the same area, and can garage sale together! 
Katy, I have two bags of boys clothes and I think I have some 2T and 3T stuff. If you want me to send them to you just send my an addy and they're yours.
Steve took...ok drug me kicking and screaming... to see AVP. On first thought, the predator seemed just a wee bit rastafarian. I enjoyed the searching for the temples or whatever, but then I just fell asleep. Yep, right in the movie theatre. If there had been no aliens and no predators...well, then it would have been a great movie! hahahaha.

I say if you can save a buck on clothes now then use that money saved for usefull items.

I thought Alien vs Predator was awesome myself. But I am a guy so i guess it don't count.
My wife always buys the kids winter clothes in spring and the summer clothes in fall she says she saves alot of money that way.

Hey, I may have a few clothing items from Chloe, although I think she'll probably be wearing her 3T stuff intil she's 10! She's gotten taller, but still pretty much wears a 2T or sometimes a 3T in the waist. Wish I could help you with 2T stuff more, but obviously I'll be needing those for the little one. I'll mail you anything I can part with! In the meantime, find some filthy rich neighborhood garage sales and have at it!

yeah, the character endorsed clothes drive me crazy....and my mother in law loves them of course! i think it's a tacky to make your kids a walking advertisement. to own the toy is one thing---to wear it plastered on clothes and shoes is quite another. say it with me...T-A-C-K-Y! which is why my mil likes it
