I miss your fucking crazy ass. And I don't think we should wrap up anyone's blog into categories. I mean you may be a mom but you're also an idividual, seperate from her kids with a mind of her own (hence the not spawning from dooce).

I personally can't stand Dooce. I read it a couple of times and she just struck me as smarmy and whiny. Plus she doesn't take comments, which is stupid. Why have a blog if you don't take comments? And I didn't start mine because of hers, I can guarantee you that!
Speaking of misspellings, it should be help accepted up there in your header, not excepted. Love ya!
I like Dooce. I read her every day. But, I don't think she's the be all and end all of bloggers. I think her publicity is getting boring.
I actually started blogging because of Sheri. Her husband has had a blog for quite a while and she talked me into it. I found out about Doose from the Today show this past summer. I also agree that she should have comments, but, it is her blog and she can do as she wants.

2. I started my blog BEFORE I knew who Dooce was. I found her blog waaaaay after mine - as I used to write this crap on my family "WEBPAGE" way before blog was even a word. Went through about 7 of those suckers before I looked up "Online diary" and found blog. 
3. I think BusyMom is FAR funnier and fun to read than Dooce. I check "D" out every month or two or three... but BMom I check out almost daily.
who the hell is Dooce? I have a mommy blog and I have never even heard of this person. AND, I don't think I am gonna go to her site either. I love yours too much Katy!

I don't even really think of Dooce as a blog anymore, she's more of an on-line humor columnist. My initial blog was started as a way to keep up with family back up North and then I realized that I had to start my own where I could swear and talk about thongs. Like Meritt, I hadn't heard of her prior to surfing other's blogrolls.
So there.
I have no idea what my point was, but I hope I made it somewhere in that mess.
I used to do my long rambling comments on my son Rob's blog. He finally told me to get my own and I did.
I just recently discovered "mommy blogs" and love them! And even more recently, Dooce. (who I do enjoy)

Dooce is famous because she got fired for her blog. And you're right; her blog is overrated. Glad to see you blogging more regular again, even if I'm not reading regularly.

Never read Dooce...I started reading, Northwoods Woman, Gut Rumbles and Savannah Sam...then I found Katy, Cat and a few others...Thought, HELL, my kidz play with shit, lie to shrinks, my huzzband is a TOTAL redneck...hell, I should start a blog..and did.
I've never actually read Dooce. I got started because I liked reading Dave Barry's blog.
