My (almost) 4 yr old had grown 3" up since January and no change in the waist....
I've given up being Tall and Skinny - i'm letting HIM do it!

Jr has done that. At the beginning of the school year (when he was still 6) he fit into a 7 Slim. They are now too short for him yet the waist is now TOO BIG! I'd recommend a belt or maybe even suspenders.

It never ends...just went through the same with the 17 year old. He shot up AGAIN but his pants are falling off...belts work great.
