I remember something you told me when I was upset about Dan's deployment . You told me you had a friend whose husband was deployed and after he was home for a few weeks, it was like he was never gone. It will be the same for you Katy. Praying for Clints safe return. All will be well !

My son is stationed in Fort Polk, LA and is being deployed on September 16th. He'll be in Kuwait for a month, then off to Iraq. He's had some heavy duty combat training, but not sure what his job will be. Hang in there! The time will pass....

(I reminded my son that sitting in the living room watching the towers fall and crying was FIVE YEARS AGO!)

Katy, I've been lurking around your blog for a little while and I have no doubt you will do fine while your hubby is away. If I can do it anyone can! Have Clint tape some bedtime stories and take a bundle of postcards with him. The kids LOVE getting real mail from Dad. I'll be thinking of you in the months to come.
