Gravatar I am sure this will be hard for the kids to understand.
as for advice? ummm I am not much help.

Take care girl!

Gravatar I used to travel a lot and all the kids knew is that I had to get on a plane. They used to stand out in the yard and wave at the planes figuring that I was on one of them...for the entire trip!

Gravatar Get a general power of attorney even if you can't think of any good reason to have it. You'll need it for something.
I got a big laminated world map for Jack's room so he can see Kuwait and Iraq.
Read the super fine print in the additional life insurance forms-most don't cover anything war related.
Don't forget insurance (and a will) for yourself.
You'll be ok. I promise. Just refill the Paxil. Wellbutrin works for me. And don't be afraid to ask your friends for help.
*hugs*

Gravatar Thank you for the kind comment. You caught me during one of those bad weeks. Usually not such a downer. I'll be back to my normal ASAP.
Oh and make sure you record Clint reading some bedtime stories. The kids will love it.
Hang in there.

Gravatar Katy,
Yet another example of why you might need POA. My cell phone is broken. In order to activate a new phone, I had to fax Verizon my POA- since DH neglected to included my name on the Verizon family plan contract.
All those crazy things that come up that you don't think of.

Gravatar Double check and make sure the life insurance will cover Clint if something happens over there. Many insurance policies do not cover acts of war. Just check, 'k?

And make sure you have power of attorney for him.
