Sorry to hear you are sick. It seems to be going around! Hang in there and rest. And congrats on your anniversary of your activation! Can't believe it has been a YEAR already! Where does the time go?
I'm having vertigo issues along with nausea and dizziness. Not the flu or food poisoning. Going to see my ENT/CI doctor this week if my nurse friend Susan can get me in!
I miss you! It didn't seem right not to go to Nashville this month! But will be there in February!
Hugs to you and your precious family!

Get well soon Jen! Pace yourself. We all need to hold up the hand now and then and say: STOP.
I'm fighting a sore throat tonight too. Sigh.
Let's rest well.

Yes... a LOT has changed in your life since then ... funny how we saw it all coming. Sometimes THAT amazes me! I sO miss having you around on a regular basis - but I'm also SO happy FOR you and all your new found freedoms and confidence! God has been SO good to you Jen... I hope you are walking very closely with Him these days! God is working wonders in MY life too -- ones I never thought he WOULD. (though I always knew he COULD...)
Love you Babe!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Well been a while since I have come over to visit with you hasn't it?? Sorry..Many things going on in my life as you read about. Back surgery coming and well you know the scary-ness of all of that.
When I was little I was sitting by my grandmother on the couch. I had a sparkler in my hand. I fell and it went in her ear...UGH!! Things like this happen.
Hopefully yours will heal just fine..If it is not ONE thing is is always ANOTHER...Thank goodness for being Christians..

Jen, when you had your other ear implanted did you try using your first one to see if it would activate when you placed the magnet on the processor on your head? I tried it and it wouldn't hold like it does for hte activiated side. I'm assuming they processor in the head and even the magnet in it need to be turned on. Just curious.

having your hearing returned to you sounds like such a blessing. I would not choose your path, but God seems to have been with you all the way, and NOW you share and help so many others with your writing and your healthy spirit.

is pooh a four letter word, synonymous with the stuff my mom's dog rolled in today? If SO then perhaps this blog should have a rating, or a warning about language, don't you think?

I'm a newbie to this -- blah, blah blahging -- and have been spending some time romping around and reading. I just had to say that I really love your style of writing. You just seem to run, it's fast, it moves and yet it never gets ahead of me.
Wow. I gotta learn how to do that. It's so cool.
Thanks.
