Jennifer, I know that was hard work, but if it makes you feel better...we parents of ci kids appreciate these videos from you and Abbie and other adults because it helps us understand a little bit more what it's like. When you asked her to turn up the volume w/out turning up the sensation...we typically don't get things like that from the kids, so thank you for the information!
Those 2 videos are awesome. They should be a required viewing for any aspiring audiologist who wants to work with CIs.
The captioning on the videos are wonderful! I believe, it makes a huge impression on me. That you are able to hear these very quite and subtle sounds. Some of the comments are very quiet. I don't think you missed any of the words.

Also, this is great info for me as the mother of a child with a CI who is about to be activated with her second one; it helps me understand what the whole process will be like for her. Thanks so much for sharing.
