Hi again..just briefly read your summary. Can you explain more your sound sensitivity? Andrew has sensory issues- along w/ adhd and at one time we thought autism but now not so much. My primary 'fear' of going bilateral is that it will BE TOO much for him. Too- much sensation. We can't really even take him to church with us- granted it is extremely loud- (and he doesn't want us to turn him down..it is more about NOT hearing us vs. being too loud I think.) I have spoken w/ just a couple of parents w/ similar kids and all had descent obstacles getting their kids use to bilaterals. Anyway- just wondered how the bilaterals fit into the whole sensory game for you. We are doing insurance approval in January and BCBS MI is good about it I guess.
