Gravatar Oh Jen/AKA Princess and the Pea,

I'm SO happy that you aren't living with the daily pain and headaches any more! For just that, it was certainly worth it. I've been and will continue to send positive thoughts and prayers your way that you will get some sound from it.

I agree. Amanda is an inspiration. She's taking everything in stride and like the rest of you, we're really proud of her.

Hugs,
Jennifer

Gravatar Oh Jen! You don't know how much it means to me to read this post! I had a really good feeling that the reimplantation would do the job as far as curing you from pain.

I have just the same feeling about your re-activation. It is not going to hurt like last time my little princess of sunshine!

Gravatar Wonderful news! You sound so happy! I'm glad your new ear feels better already! You sound like a new person already. I'm glad the headaches and pain in your ear are gone already. When you get activated, will you call your new ear Thing 3?

Somebody has a birthday coming up. . . *whistling Happy Birthday and looking around. . . *

Hugs! Laurie

Gravatar I am glad you're no longer suffering from the pain and can now sleep on that side in comfort! Now that is out of the way, onto to better things...17 days to activation!!

Gravatar Hi Jen, I am Charlotte, Recent Implantee (around same time as Amanda) and doing well.

Reading your blog.. wow! And i am glad to hear that you are on the mend.

Charlotte

Gravatar Congrats on the success Jennifer. I know how it feels to have uncomfortable feelings in my ears. Ever since I was four I have had problems in my ears and have found it hard to sleep. I too have a low tolerance for pain and uncomfort. I think it's great that you took a chance and I'm glad it has paid of for you.

Gravatar I have been waiting for this news and I am so happy for you. What a relief it must be. Yay, Yay, Yay!!! Now that your body can relax we will be hopeful for the hook-up. Cheers!
Glenice

Gravatar Yay! I'm glad that you're able to feel the difference. Kind of interesting isn't it?

Gravatar GREAT news, Jennifer! Glad the pain has been eliminated with your new ear. Pleasant dreams...

Gravatar Jennifer-
I am SO happy everything is going well. I"ve been thinking of you, and was hoping you emerged fairly pain-free!

Yay!-
Melissa

Gravatar No pain is a wonderful improvement by ANY standards. Sounds like you are setting yourself up for a good activation day--being satisfied already sure helps. I kept telling myself there was no guarantee how it would go, even though my other ear went so well. And it was a good way to approach it.
Enjoy that blissful sleep!!

Gravatar Oh, yes . . . an answer to prayer! It is so wonderful to hear that the pain is gone. I'm just thrilled for you, Princess.

Gravatar This post just MADE my day, Jennifer! What fantastic news -- I am so happy you're already feeling better in your "new" ear and that painful feeling is gone.

YAY!

Gravatar What a WONDERFUL post to read!! I'm so happy for you. You are so very brave to have faced down what must have been such a daunting situation, go right back into the fray and just make it better! And now you get to 'do-over' activation! Video taping it???

Gravatar You are an inspiration!! I am so glad that the pain and discomfort you had before is gone and that you are feeling really happy with your "new" ear.

Sending positive thoughts your way.
