I'm SO happy that you aren't living with the daily pain and headaches any more! For just that, it was certainly worth it. I've been and will continue to send positive thoughts and prayers your way that you will get some sound from it.
I agree. Amanda is an inspiration. She's taking everything in stride and like the rest of you, we're really proud of her.

Oh Jen! You don't know how much it means to me to read this post! I had a really good feeling that the reimplantation would do the job as far as curing you from pain. 
I have just the same feeling about your re-activation. It is not going to hurt like last time my little princess of sunshine!
Wonderful news! You sound so happy! I'm glad your new ear feels better already! You sound like a new person already. I'm glad the headaches and pain in your ear are gone already. When you get activated, will you call your new ear Thing 3?

I am glad you're no longer suffering from the pain and can now sleep on that side in comfort! Now that is out of the way, onto to better things...17 days to activation!!

Congrats on the success Jennifer. I know how it feels to have uncomfortable feelings in my ears. Ever since I was four I have had problems in my ears and have found it hard to sleep. I too have a low tolerance for pain and uncomfort. I think it's great that you took a chance and I'm glad it has paid of for you.
I have been waiting for this news and I am so happy for you. What a relief it must be. Yay, Yay, Yay!!! Now that your body can relax we will be hopeful for the hook-up. Cheers!

No pain is a wonderful improvement by ANY standards. Sounds like you are setting yourself up for a good activation day--being satisfied already sure helps. I kept telling myself there was no guarantee how it would go, even though my other ear went so well. And it was a good way to approach it.
