5 medals in 4 months? None of you are questioning this? Why not? Do any of you know any other American who has won this many major medals in so short a time and didn't spend 1 night in a hospital! Audie Murphy would be proud!

Hey, you've probably heard, but Nazanin Mahabad Fatehi's death sentence has been stayed. It's of course good news, but she faces retrail and of course possibly prison. That she isn't being given the nation's highest medal is just awful.

Thanks so much for this entry. If you click my homepage, it'll become apparent that John Kerry is my total hero, and that I don't need any convincing that he's fighting for us. Well, I think he really played bass back in the day. And you wouldn't know he selected me for his very small seminar at the Kennedy School on the use of TV commercials in campaigns back in mmmm 80-81.
