Good points. The key for the right-wing always is, have you been attacked by the right people? As soon as the so-called libural media trashes their guy, they rally. It's an excuse more than an a legitimate reason, but it's a conservative ritual.

Good points. What I meant by" McCain is not a serious candidate" is this: On the merits, McCain shouldn't be taken seriously. He has rotten judgment, will do anything at all to win, and is dumb as a post.
Of course, his candidacy should be taken seriously. And, imo, the best way to address that is by making it clear as day that he is manifestly unfit to be president of the United States.
As for Hagee and his ilk, provided they stay out of politics, I couldn't give a shit about them. They have every right to practice their religion, no matter how shallow and hateful it appears to the rest of us. They have no right to seek the establishment of any aspect of that religion in the government of the US. That is the only thing I care about.
