Mississippi has a lot of terrifically low IQ people, both white and black. So does Arkansas and West Virginia (there, the low IQ contingent is almost all white, incidentally) and Alabama, Georgia, Tenessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and southern Illinois and Indiana have quite a few.
The reason is simple. Of the working classes, (many of) those with the most intelligence, motivation, and overall sense moved. The ones that stayed, after LBJ's Great Society made the surest path out of an abusive or merely boring and constraining household for young women the simple expedient of spreading their legs, disproportionately bred frequently and poorly.
When will we realize the basic common sense of Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes and Margaret Sanger was the only solution? The Radical Religious Right curses the name of Sanger as a baldfaced eugenicist. They are right. She was and rightly so.
People below roughly 90 IQ should be offered full lifetime welfare. I'll happily pay a little extra tax for it-it's cheaper than what we're spending now if the distribution were made efficient. But-big but-they give up two things for lifetime safety, burping, changing and feeding.
They don't make any more idiots in their image. And to keep pols from pandering to them, they don't vote.
