If all carnivals were done like this, each and every time, I would not complain. The course numbers are especially helpful.

Well, its gonna have to a HEAVY courseload, I think ... some interesting classes in here
Metaphysics 119: South Park and Religion
They kill Kenny in every episode, and he is ressurected the next episode ... very Christ like. South Park seems supra-religious to me, especially with the Super Best Friends.
Ethics 421: Posner's Pragmatic Moral Skepticism
Why would behaviour modification be an aim of moral philosophy? Behaviour analysis is surely a part of moral philosophy, but its far more about describing than trying to change anything. We should look to describe the way men behave badly, and not advocate any particular variety ...
Ethics 267: Feeling, Action, and Context in Ethics
Passion underlies art, and art is highly intellectual. Passion must belong to the realm of the intellect.
Ethics 156: Civil Disobedience
At what point do even benign institutions become a serious roadblock when they are dysfunctional? Dysfunction is not always intentional ... just because govt institutions are robust, or even benign, is no reason to assume they are functional for the greater good.
Aesthetics 210: Artiste de merde de vache
Roger Federer DOES play tennis artistically ... other players haven't, necessarily. Roger, like other athletic artists such as Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan, aren't merely good at what they, they transcend it in fundamental ways. Given that, I think when you shock in a transcendant way, it worthy of artistic consideration.
Philosophy of Mind 314: Competence, Computation, and Mechanistic Levels
It probably means they are more useful.
I can't seem to find my registration form though ... still, they all sound fascinating
