RE: "Angel put it this way - we all know how to move because we get around all the time. It is staying in one place that is difficult."

The president of the local Chiropractor's council once pointed out to me that children take forever to actually learn how to walk well. When the body changes in puberty we have to learn all over again, and as we age it all changes again. Learning to walk is a lifelong process.

"Old man Kung Fu" is the ability to stand your ground and defend yourself while moving as little as possible, not because this is the best way, it's all you have left.

It would be fun to know what I know know and have the body I had when I was twenty to apply it with. I think this why we like to teach younger students, to see if we can pass it all on.

Gravatar Ooh, I like Tom's "Old Man Kung-fu comment above. So true. That was Angel at the end, but just because he couldn't move much doesn't mean he was weak. In some ways, the most potent, like a concentrated elixer.

Gravatar Someone wrote asking about the paragraph beginning: " The papeet allows us to control range without clashing."

His comment:
"It is unclear which hand is holding the stick in this paragraph."

My response: The correct answer is "either hand." That's the point; we face left or right according to the direction of the attack; which hand is left important. Don't overthink this!
