I don't agree as you can be strong but not have technical finesse. On the other hand, just because I cannot wield a sword like another, does not mean I cannot kill you with it, ya?
An average house robbery will likely not have training in Krav Maga but will be able to figure out how to slit your throat.

Oh, and about the students who jump ahead, just tell them to save it for open mat time but they need to drill the technique first. It is a good reason to do it and only benefits them.
