I love this pattern! I made one pair really quickly in a nice dark blue/purple/blue/green wool from my stash, which looked lovely, though I had to do a different toe and heel to have enough. Now I'm down to grafting the toe of sock #1 of pair #2, this time in a hot red/orange/pink mix - this one was KIP a little, and everyone wanted to know what it was, and one even asked for the pattern! May I print it all out (copyright etc intact) to send to her?

Now I'm hmming ovver the adult version...

You're a doll...I cannot tell you how difficult it is to find a kids sock pattern online...and I always use Cascade 220 Superwash for my socks!

My grandkids saw me knitting big! bedsocks for my daughter, and all jumped on the bandwagon!! I found yr pattern and have knitted a few pair, lost the pattern, and just downloaded it again! Grandkids choose their own colours from my "stores" and one explained his represented "Penguins and their enemies"! (Go figure!)

I am a french knitter and i find that this pattern has the exact measurements to do any kind of socks.Using different size of needles and all sorts of wool, the proportions stay the same and i made some socks fitting a child of 4 and an other one for a boy of 12 years old .It's so easy to knit for charity with it.I made 6 pairs during my summer holidays and cannot stop making others.Thanks a lot.
