Stitches of Violet

Gravatar Thanks for the cute sock pattern. I will try it out while we are on vacation next week! Lisa

Gravatar Almost finished with my first sock and it's looking GORGEOUS, honestly one of the most beautiful socks I've made to date.

But I found a small problem in your pattern...it isn't possible to start the gussets with 56 stitches (18 heel, 19 on each side of heel flap= even number), decrease even numbers and end up with 33 stitches (odd number) unless I skip a decrease somewhere.

I'm skipping a decrease row and continuing on 34 (65 total) stitches because I'm using Espirit Sock it to Me! (Elann.com) and knit a bit tight with it.

Gravatar I am so happy I found your site. It appears we have more in common than knitting! I'll let you know when I complete the "world renound" triple lindee patern. It will be soon!

Gravatar Those socks are so beautiful! I can't wait to start them.
Thank you for sharing!

Gravatar Thank you for the sock pattern. I have had it for a while. I don't understand the part that says-turn the sock inside out and knite going the other direction. Could you exsplain this? What does this look like? Thanks, Sandra

Gravatar Marguerite, /thanks for answering my question about the socks. When I got to the place-to turn them inside out-it looked like I had my knitting above my needles instead of below the needles. Then I knit the back row first-then came around to the front of my knitting. Does this sound right? When you pick up the bar between the first and last stitch-then you go the right way again-right? Sandra

Gravatar they are beautiful

Gravatar Thank you for the pattern I made them in pink for my sock pal in sockapalooza 4. Really nice knitting pattern.

Gravatar Will be next on my to do list. Love them.

Gravatar Wow. They are really unique and lovely. Thanks for the free pattern!

Gravatar I love the pattern i will have to give it a try.
