Thank you for the answer! I will be sharing your info and pictures with my girls tomorrow when we sit down for school. They enjoy watching the birds and love learning more about Michigan since that's where their grandma lives. ;o) Will you be able to take pics of the bluebirds?
Glad Sunny is going to have some fun. She deserves some!

How weird that Gail didn't wear her socks for so long. Maybe she was saving them "for good" and then it cold enough that she realized how foolish that plan was! Nice to see our hand knits in action and well loved!
I'm glad Sunny is on the mend and can adapt to her new activity level.

I follow your blog religiously. I love the bird stories. I'm here in FL and we have birds all year round. We do get the March/April influx of birds heading north after the winter though.
I wanted to let you know that for some reason on my computer your sidebar is at the bottom of the page. When Eunny's sidebar disappeared to the bottom it was because one of her pictures was too big but yours is always at the bottom and I forget to scroll down unless you mention something that I don't see. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem?
Regards,

So sorry about Sunny's back problems. How lucky he is to have such a considerate owner. Hester started doggy school last night - just basic obedience, but my husband said she had a great time and was the best behaved doggy in the class. I have a friend at work who wears my knitted socks all the time, so I'm constantly looking for opportunities to knit for her!

Sunny sure is lucky to have such a devoted owner! Thanks for the photos of spring, I can hold out hope that all this rain will one day end and sun, birds, etc. be with us too. I did notice buds on the trees, but was too drenched while out walking this morning to see much

YES, doves are stupid, clumsy and really lousy nest-builders! They compensate by having up to 5 clutches a year. Ever wonder why there are so many if they are so sloppy? That new nest could very well be a wren nest. They are very resourceful nest-builders, they use whatever they can find. Happy Spring and thanks for all the photos.
