Stitches of Violet

Gravatar Hey! I'm first

The socks are really lovely Marguerite! I would never have guessed the "busy" yarn would look this good with a "busy" pattern but they compliment each other perfectly! Wear them well and enjoy your trip!

Gravatar i like how your socks turned out! how was the yarn - i hear it's a new yarn that's come out; what does it feel like?

Gravatar That has got to be the prettiest socks I've ever seen, hands down. I'm not an avid sock knitter but I really love the colors and the pattern. I'm drooling! I think I might have to have some of that yarn.

Gravatar Those socks are simply stunning. Almost too pretty to wear!

Gravatar Great socks!

Gravatar Beautiful! I am doing the same pattern and I love it. I usually use a 56 stitch sock and I was worried about these, but I went down to a size 0 needle just in case and they fit well. And you have got to try that toe - it's easy, fun and very good looking. I'm anxious to hear how you like that yarn - will it make your toesies soft? Have a great trip!

Gravatar Socks are awesome!!! Thank you for sharing them and so much more.

Gravatar Oh I love them! I want them, they are the perfect pattern and color. I may just have to hunt that sock yarn down, well in May.

Gravatar Beautiful socks, a nice job as always! I tend to stick with what I like too, so don't feel bad about not trying the new toe!

As for the shawl, don't be so hard on yourself!! It's not like you have Barbara finished and THEN found the error ... maybe your were distracted thinking about feeding Cheerios to Sydney! LOL!

HAve fun fun fun!

Gravatar I absolutely love these new socks Marguerite! I never in a million years would have been brave enough to use a self striping yarn with this pattern but it works SO well. I'll be thinking outside of the box more often now thanks to you. LOL
