I kind of felt the same way about my Rick sock too, but I also know that uneven yo's often even out with the first wash. Still stalled on socks, but I am picking up some lace again. Also have been able to put in some long walks with Maggie due to the spectacular weather!

After spending days starting Rick using a different number of cast-on stitches, I finally frogged mine. Yours look great, especially in red.

I remember how the twisted knits stood out when I knitted the Sampler M in the Yahoo group. So cool on a sock! What a color. It's so hard to find a good red to match the one in my mind.

My husband who is a woodworker named the Red Oak color. It is just right, isn't it?
The Rick sock looks fabulous.

I don't see any uneven stitches....looks great to me. Every pattern in the book...that will be quite an accomplishment, but I know you can do it!
I really like the colorways of your new etsy vendor. I have been watching for roving that I can't live without! She has lovely fibers!
