This is good news. How big is the TLM community in Hong Kong?
I do put a question out to other readers since I am not sure how my question is rectified:
With the abandonment of all the minor orders and subdiaconate being replaced with instituted lectors and acolytes in the US dioceses, how does your average parish that has offered nothing but the Novus Ordo work around a lack of subdeacons should it be impossible to gather a combination of three priests and deacons for mass. Does an instituted acolyte take the place of subdeacon in a TLM or is it forbidden altogether since a subdeacon or higher is required. As a side note, I wonder if this will be addressed as a practical issue for formation in the Roman Rite by the Holy Father in his follow-up to the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum.
